Job Title: Risk Management Coordinator

Position Summary

This is a 100% remote position. Candidate will provide blended support to the organization including administrative support as well as member facing support (by phone and by email.) This associate will support and respond to member requests, deliver and file documents, assist with coordinating educational events including webinars and in person meetings, and perform other administrative functions for the organization.

Essential Job Functions

  1. Delivering members insurance applications, policies, certificates of insurance and handling general member requests for information about the same as well as filing all of the above in company Sharepoint and Extranet.
  2. Update company CRM with cases, policies, contacts, accounts, vendors, prospects etc.
  3. Assist Exec Dir with captive renewals (send out renewal applications, track renewal progress, review applications for completion).
  4. Assist with running the PURMA Annual Meeting (guest registration, sponsorship requests, event planning).
  5. Follow up on claims on behalf of members.
  6. Maintain member schedules such as fleet schedule, driver schedule & property schedule.
  7. Assist in coordinating insurance related education such as webinars and in person trainings.
  8. Assist in developing insurance related educational content and marketing materials and posting relevant content on company’s social media pages.
  9. Assist in special projects as they arise such as website development, implementation of risk management software rollout, etc.
  10. Manage certificate of insurance requests on behalf of members.

Skills and Abilities

  1. Ability to prioritize tasks, understanding which matters are urgent
  2. Strong critical & analytical thinking skills
  3. Strong written & oral communication skills
  4. Strong knowledge of Word, Excel, Adobe, PowerPoint
  5. Ability to communicate clearly, to work well with others, and to manage time effectively

Education and Experience

  1. Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  2. 1-2 years of Insurance experience strongly preferred

Physical Requirements

  1. Must be able to remain in a stationary position for an extended period at a computer.
  2. Occasionally moves equipment from one area to another, transporting generally items < five pounds.
  3. Continually operate a computer and other office equipment
  4. Routinely communicates with colleagues and members
